Lane Memorial Blood Bank in conjunction with the University of Oregon Blood Drive Association (UOBDA) holds blood drives on campus. These events are held monthly during the regular school year, and twice during the summer months.

Although primarily designed to accommodate students and faculty who would otherwise be unable to donate, the general public is invited to participate. Lane Memorial Blood Bank will be set up in the Fir Room of the Erb Memorial Union from 10am-4pm on the scheduled days. No appointments are necessary for these blood drives.
 
During November, the annual Civil War Blood Drive runs for the two weeks prior to the game. During this event, Lane Memorial Blood Bank and the Pacific Northwest Regional Blood Services of the American Red Cross hold a joint, four-day blood drive in the EMU.
